CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY


If a reservation is canceled less than 48 hours from the start of the scheduled rental time, only the deposit will be refunded. 

If a reservation is canceled more than 48 hours from the start of the scheduled rental time, a full refund will be given.

In the event of inclement weather (hail, high winds, lightning, severe thunderstorms, rain continuing for most of the day), the reservation can be rescheduled to another day. 

PAYMENTS
The full rental rate and a $500 refundable deposit is required at time of booking. The deposit will be refunded to the RENTER within 24 - 72 hours of return of the boat if no further charges are acquired such as fuel or damages. If damages to the boat are suspected or evident, the deposit may or may not be refunded after evaluation by the Marina which may be up to 5 business days. 


DEPOSIT AND DAMAGES
The RENTER is responsible for damage as result of actions of the RENTER, authorized Drivers or any other members of the party. It is agreed by RENTER that the Marina shall not be held liable for damages, inconvenience or time lost caused by accident, breakdown or malfunction of the rental boat.

The Marina is held harmless for renters personal property or that of the renters party carried in or on the rental boat, including loss or damage caused by fire, water, theft or any other cause whatsoever.
The Marina must be contacted immediately and report made if a malfunctions, breakdown or a defect is discovered after the RENTER accepts the boat.

It will be entirely at the RENTERS risk and the RENTER assumes all liabilities of injury or damage to all persons and property becoming involved in continued use. Additional charges owed to the Marina for fuel, additional fees, late fees, damages or violations per this Agreement will be taken from the deposit at the return of the rental. RENTER will be notified of additional charges within 5 days.

In the event of damages, a professional assessment will be made to determine repair cost.
The RENTER will be notified within 5 business days of the deposit forfeited, insurance claim required or other action per this Agreement.

If due to negligence, there is damage to the boat resulting in lose of rental availability the RENTER can be held responsible for both damages and revenue lost while boat is being repaired. The foregoing does not limit the Marina's ability to seek further damages.

The boat must be returned to the Marina in a clean condition with all trash removed and property disposed of in trash receptacles. If the boat is unacceptably dirty and will require extra time to clean appropriately, the RENTER will be charged a $75 cleaning fee. The Marine reserves the right to determine if the boat is unacceptably dirty.

Additional charges owed to the Marina for fuel, additional fees, late fees, damages or violations per this Agreement will be taken from the deposit at the return of the rental. The RENTER will be notified of additional charges within 5 days.

A $500 charge will be applied if damage requiring towing occurs as result of actions of the RENTER, authorized Drivers or any other members of the party.
